Definitions
For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Seller: Netherlands Secondhand Bikes
- Customer: any individual or business entering into an agreement with Netherlands Secondhand Bikes
- Products: all bicycles, accessories and related items offered through the online store
- Agreement: any purchase concluded between the Customer and the Seller
Applicability
These Terms & Conditions apply to all offers, orders and agreements made through the online store of Netherlands Secondhand Bikes.
By placing an order, the Customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
Product Information
We make every reasonable effort to display and describe our products as accurately as possible.
As many of our bicycles are second-hand, minor signs of previous use may be present. Where possible, visible damage, wear or other relevant characteristics will be mentioned in the product information or shown in the photographs.
Prices
All prices displayed in our online store include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Orders and Payment
An agreement is concluded once payment has been successfully completed.
Orders must be paid in full using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Delivery
We aim to deliver orders placed before 16:00 on the next working day, unless stated otherwise.
Delivery is available in the Netherlands and Belgium. For other European countries, the expected delivery time is approximately 5 working days.
If a delivery is delayed, this does not automatically give the Customer the right to claim compensation.
Ready-to-Ride Delivery
All bicycles are delivered ready to ride.
If accessories are ordered together with the bicycle, these will be fitted in advance where applicable.
Warranty
Second-hand bicycles are covered by a limited warranty for technical defects that have not resulted from normal use, wear and tear, improper use or external damage.
Normal wear items such as tyres, brake pads, chains and lighting are not covered by the standard warranty unless otherwise stated.
If you experience a problem, please always contact our customer service team first.
Right of Withdrawal / Returns
Consumers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days after receiving the order.
The Customer must return the product in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, in the same packaging in which it was received.
Any return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer unless otherwise agreed.
Bicycles that have been specially modified or personalised may be excluded from the right of return.
Liability
Netherlands Secondhand Bikes is not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss or damage resulting from improper use of a product.
Liability is limited to the value of the relevant order.
Complaints
Complaints should be reported to our customer service team within a reasonable period after the issue has been identified.
We aim to process complaints within 14 days.
Privacy
Personal information is treated confidentially and processed in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Applicable Law
All agreements are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
